A DUTCH CULTURAL JOURNEY FOR KIDS!

Friday is a precocious 10-year-old American girl. Her parents’ love of reading and travel rubs off on her and she learns to be curious and in awe of the world around her. Every year the family moves to a new country for work and discovery, and Friday’s curiosity soars!

When Friday learns that she’s about to spend a year in Amsterdam, she dreams of eating Dutch cheese every day and visiting windmills. She’s about to embark on a new adventure that will forever change how she sees the world, for many more interesting experiences await her.

Her experiences with Dutch bikers, making friends with neighbor kids, a class project to help school kids in Africa, visiting tulip fields, and walking through the museums of Amsterdam teach Friday that, while the customs of a new country may at first seem strange, every place has something valuable to teach us.
